How to troubleshoot a potential VetCheck issue

Occasionally you may encounter a problem with VetCheck. The following instructions will help you provide more information so that the VetCheck team can further investigate.

Here are some things to check

  • Are you using Chrome?
  • Are there any Chrome updates required?
  • Does VetCheck work outside of the practice management system? If yes, it's most likely a practice management issue but feel free to report to VetCheck to investigate.

How to get information from the console log

Obtaining a photo of the console log when a button fails or a video of your action that is failing will greatly help the VetCheck team determine what is going wrong. Please follow these instructions to obtain this information

  1. In your Chrome browser, click on the 3 vertical dot icon and then navigate to More tools > Developer tools
  2. Make sure you can see the "Console" details
  3. Take an image or video of your task with the console log open
  4. Email to [email protected]
